Last September, we posted about Sheraton Greensboro getting a makeover. This included a new renovated back entrance and parking area, newly installed lights, and a full paint job. As you can see, the painting isn’t quite done, but it’s safe to say that almost a year since the last post, the project is nearing completion.
For many residents and visitors coming in and out of town, Sheraton Greensboro can be seen from the highway, as if to say ‘Welcome to Greensboro!’ Now with this new set of lights, it’s an even brighter, more beautiful welcoming than ever.
Congratulations to all of the teams for participating in what was another excellent ACC Tournament. ACC Basketball is full of fierce competition and die-hard fans, so Sheraton Greensboro is proud to be a part of hosting such an exciting event here in our great city.
Each of the 1,000 guest rooms at Sheraton Greensboro was occupied throughout the tournament by players, coaches, bands, mascots, broadcasters, officials, sponsors, and of course, fans. We’d like to thank all of our guests for staying with us, as well as the tournament organizers and staff at the Greensboro Coliseum for providing our city with such a safely and efficiently ran event with the excitement that only ACC Basketball can produce.
We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
